Chris Fox is a member of the Grande Prairie Photography Club and this month’s Member Profile. Chris has done some travelling to places like South America, Panama, Nepal and also Jasper and Nova Scotia. When asked which place was his favourite and where he would return to he said Nepal, not only because it was a life- long dream of his to travel there, he also feels the country has a lot to offer. When Chris travels he mostly just wants to create an image where people can get an experience, or a story or a sense of place out of it.
Chris is a Canon user and when he went to Nepal he packed very light, the only lens he brought was a 17-55mm, he also brought a neutral density grad filter and a circular polarizer.
Chris has many favourite techniques he likes to use in photography, the one he finds most challenging is using the available light to his advantage, not trying to change the light but work with the angles that he’s been given.
