Saskatoon Island Park Bird Walk
For those who attended the bird walk, it was an enjoyable evening that started with a short (approximately 10 min) walk from the parking lot at Saskatoon Lake to the 'Little Lake' dock. Warm winds and sunny skies made for a beautiful evening. The group hung out at the new dock area for about an hour and a half before heading back. Although most of the birds were sheltering across the lake, there was opportunity to photograph a few gulls, ducks and a couple of small birds testing the power of their wings under the breezy conditions. As always, there were opportunities for photos , and sometimes conditions just lead to greater creativity such as demonstrated by the group. The GP Photo Club meets once a month, consider joining our group to grow your photography skills and have some photography fun!!!
